What an awesome Easter we had ! It was so warm that the girls didn't need to wear sweaters with their sundresses and for the first time in years we had the Easter Egg hunt outside. Easter, for us started on Thursday with a family Seder and last supper. The whole service took an hour and the kids did surprisingly well. On Friday Ella got an early birthday present, a real live bunny named Cocoa(I know, like we didnt have enough to take care of) and we read the crucifixtion story in the dark before bed. Saturday night we went to church at our church. After church we colored Easter Eggs and made Easter cresant rolls(we rolled marshmellows in cresant rolls and then rolled the rolls in sugar cinnammon mixture and when you baked the rolls the marshmellow is gone, just like Jesus's body was gone Easter morning) Sunday morning the kids go their Easter baskets and looked for the Easter Eggs the colored the night before(the "easter bunny" hid them), we had a family breakfast and then we drove to Grandma's house for church, dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. We got home at 9:00 that night happy but exhausted.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow So quiet down cobwebs, Dust go to sleep I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep
